Refund policy

Last updated: 18 November 2024

1. For participants

PassPass is not responsible for ticket refunds.

  • PassPass acts solely as a technical online ticketing intermediary.
  • Any refund request must be addressed directly to the event organiser, who applies their own refund policy.
  • Refund terms (amount refunded, deadlines, eligibility conditions) are defined exclusively by the organiser and may vary depending on the event.

Before purchasing a ticket, always check the specific refund policy indicated by the organiser.

2. For organisers

Transaction and service fees charged by PassPass are non-refundable.

  • In the event of cancellation or refund of a ticket, the transaction fees remain due and cannot be reimbursed.

Refund policy and fees at the organiser's expense

The organiser is free to set the refund terms for tickets sold via PassPass:

  1. Option 1: Ticket refund excluding fees — The participant receives a refund of the amount paid minus PassPass fees.
  2. Option 2: Full refund at the organiser's expense — The organiser covers the ticketing fees and refunds the full ticket amount to the buyer.

The organiser must clearly communicate their refund policy to participants when tickets are put on sale.

Liability clause: PassPass cannot be held responsible for refunds, cancellations or disputes between a buyer and an organiser.

3. Special cases

  • Cancelled or postponed events: The organiser is responsible for informing buyers and managing refunds according to their policy.
  • Exceptional refund request: If a buyer encounters an unresolved dispute with an organiser, PassPass may act as an intermediary to facilitate communication, without any guarantee of refund.
